Dream Builders
Building the Dream–Hand to Hand, Heart to Heart
Tje Dream Come True Foundation is more than about writing checks. It’s about getting involved in people’s lives.
Building the Dream Come True provides many opportunities to help us tell the story and get the story out. Here are a few.
1. You can send this blog to key people in your contact list. You can do it by sending the link, but an even more effective way is sending the page. You can find the function, if this is not something you already do, by clicking on File, selecting “Page by Email,” writing a short personal message at the top. The page will create a powerful impression on the person you send it to. Your friends and the people you value will appreciate the information.
2. You can become “a chief blogger.” Our blog page will feature writers who want to speak up about how we help people and build stronger people and families. In fact, we need a “blogger in chief” who will cooridnate this effort.
3. We need technology gurus for the Dream. Our families need technology for school–they and their children. We need people who can repair computers, install software, and teach computer skills.
4. We need your old computers, when you upgrade, providing your old computers have the basic software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. This equipment will help a bright student stay in school and make good grades.
5. We need mentors who can mentor in math, science, and laugages directly will our recipients.
6. Some of our Dream Builders provide child care for recipients when they are in class or studying for final exams.
7. Of course we need your support. Right now our basic core costs are about $1600 a month. Then there are added expenses such as tuition, fees, and unexpected costs. A small or large donation is very importnat. You can “buy a day” or give a few dollars. It is appreciated.
